About Us

The purpose for us keeping this blog is twofold. As we’ve both loved writing about the games we play, this has given us the chance to keep a full record of game reviews, and it’s given us a consistent format that we can stick to. Given that our normal writing just ended up in posts or journal entries, we thought this was a good way to make it more permanent and accessible.

Most of what we play are RPGs, but often we’ll play platformers, action games, and puzzle games too. Depending on the game, we will use guides to differing extents, but will be sure to note when it has or has not been a necessity.

We keep this blog because we want to write the kind of reviews we’d like to read. That means we’ll try our best to avoid being overly subjective, objective, or biased. We know that a list of the game’s features is no more a review than multiple paragraphs saying a game is “perfect” or “sucks” is.

We love games, we know games, and we’re here to talk about games. We hope you enjoy!
